Al Pacino
Alfredo James “Al” Pacino (born April 25, 1940) is an Italian actor American, considered one of the most talented in the history of cinema.
Al Pacino was born in the Bronx neighborhood of New York, in an Italian-American family. His father, Salvatore Pacino, was born in the Italian town of Corleone, Palermo Province, Sicily. His mother, Rose Gerard, a native comes from a New York-honored Italian and Italian origin. His parents divorced while Pacino was still a child. In 1961 he was arrested in Rhode Island because they carry a weapon caliber 38. Al moved with his mother in his grandparents’ house, where he spent the rest of childhood. When he was young, he liked to imitate Al actors that I see in the movies, try different voices and emotional states. Even if school hours were not liking it, he found peace in the school plays. After he left school, Al decided to begin life as an actor, finding small roles in theater productions. In the first period of acting, Pacino was not too much money and live in poverty. That all changed in 1966 when he was accepted by Lee Strasberg courses.
Pacino began to get major roles and won an Obie Award for her role in The Indian Wants the Bronx. He soon took a Tony Award for her role in the Tiger Wear a Necktie Does?. He became known after starring in Me, Natalie (1969) Panic in Needle Park and The (1971).
